Yep, its May 2012 and we just got the Fresh Rumor that the iPhone 5 will be released in Hong Kong in.. approx 4-5 month, make that Fall 2012.

When is the iPhone 5 Release Date for Hong Kong?
The iPad 3 has seen the first new product release that happened on the same date in Hong Kong as the US. Let’s take that as an indicator that Apple has finally recognized the insanely big potential market of China and other emerging markets and will continue to parallel release all new products going forward as well.
The last iPhone 4S was released in 3rd Quarter of 2011 and we highly expect Apple to follow the same release cycle with the iPhone 5. This would mean we will see the iPhone 5 in Hong Kong around September 2012.
There were rumors that the iPhone 5 could be released during this years WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) in June, however Applebun Team believes it is much more likely to get the first glimps at the new iOS 6 during that event with the “full” release as predicted above.

- Size Change from 3.5 inches to 4 inches. The Samsung Galaxy phones have impressively shown that there is a huge market and demand for 4 inch sized screens. Be it for increasing gaming or media consumption, the 4 inch screen is very likely.
- Camera improvement to 12 MP and HD video recording (pretty much confirmed)
- A6 Quad Core Mobile Processor – another one that we can almost confirm already, production of the new processor types has been increased and the resp manufacturers are currently booked out for any new orders
- 4G LTE connectivity – just a logical step following the iPad 3
